It Seems so Different.

For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with my health and the constant fatigue of not knowing what was going on. After eight years of tests and procedures, the diagnosis of Crohn's Disease was dropped on my already chaotic life. This series brings to light the things that people do not see. The moments only those closest to me have witnessed, along with those that I share only with myself. They show not only in the chaos but also in the less frequent moments of calm. This work examines something that has grown to affect every moment of every day; it has become a part of who I am. Life seems so different now that I know, but it doesn't make it easier or less unpredictable.

This work is currently in progress.
